Info

I'm a writer & photographer from Brighton.

This blog concerns writing, horror fiction, chronic illness (I have M.E.), and related themes.

In 2021, my debut collection of shorties, I Would Haunt You if I Could, was published by Undertow Publications in 2021. My work has appeared in publications such as Best British Short Stories, The Year's Best Dark Fantasy & Horror, Interzone, ergot., Fictionable, and Cōnfingō. I am on Bluesky & Instagram @seanbirnie.

A complete list of my publications is available here.

Both free & paid subscriptions are available. I plan to eventually add short stories in the form of posts, .pdfs, .epubs, and audio performances, and make and sell physical chapbooks and zines. If you come across a paywalled digital item, which you want but are unable to afford, please contact me and I'll get it to you, no questions asked.

I can be contacted at sean@seanbirnie.com.
